How long does SIXT take to refund?
After returning the rental, SIXT is expected to reimburse the security hold within 24 hours. However, based on your bank’s policy, your credit transaction may be completed in up to 5-15 working days.
Can you dispute a charge with SIXT?
It is always possible to dispute a charge with a car rental. There is no exception for SIXT. If the customer feels a mistake has been made regarding the charged amount, they are free to follow their legal rights and ask for clarification or even a refund. However, car rentals must provide the customer with an open, explicit justification of every item or service added to the bill. They must also present the rationale for their calculations and working ways.
Can I cancel my reservation with Sixt?
SIXT offers online rebooking or cancellation for its customer. The process is the same for direct customer payments and agency reservations. As long as the customer has the reservation number and the security code delivered to them via e-mail, they can go to SIXT’s website (www.sixt.com) and modify their reservation status.
What happens if you damage a SIXT rental car?
Like all the other car rentals, SIXT also uses before-after records of the cars they are handing out. These are called check-out and check-in forms. These forms are kept to track possible damages during the customer’s time. Customers should also keep their records – whether in written form or by taking photos and videos-. That way, they will have their documents in cases of after-rental disputes.
