Huawei Watch Gt 2 is not waterproof anymore

On May 28, 2020, I bought my Huawei Watch gt 2 through the Hepsiburada app. On June 1, 2020, the watch arrived. I had no trouble getting started with my watch. I chose it. Because my job required me to talk to my phone all the time, because I wanted to be able to reach my phone in the pool, the sea, and the shower, and because the comments made it clear that it was just a watch for me. I had no problems until 25 May 2022. I wore my watch all day and night, in the water, in the pool, and the shower. On May 25, 2022, I had trouble with a sudden shutdown. The watch's screen wouldn't light up, but I could check the time on my phone. I called customer service right away, and they told me I could send my problem to the service without them bothering me. The problem with my watch was fixed during the service process on May 31, 2022, and it was sent to the cargo. In the service report, it said that the screen was changed. But there was no information about what was going on. I couldn't go to the beach or pool for a few weeks after my watch came back from being fixed. Again, I kept doing what I did every day. On June 25, 2022, when I went to the beach for the first time, even though I hadn't been diving or anything, my watch turned off as soon as my arm touched the water. When I got home after swimming, I called customer service right away. They looked after it and sent it to work. Only that our liquid contact guarantee is over and a paid change will be made is written on the service. I asked how much the fee was, and they told me it was more than 4000 TL. They didn't answer with a reason why. My watch, which I've worn for two years without any problems in the sea, pool, and other places with water, came into contact with liquid all of a sudden. I live in Kusadasi. I can swim in the sea and a pool for more than 4 months each season. How much will it be in two years? It's not okay to have liquid contact on the first swim after a service change, even though I've never had a problem before today when my arm was already in the sea. After the service change, I don't know if the parts of my watch that make it waterproof are in the right place. I don't believe either one. Both my watch and my phone are made by Huawei. Because I trust the brand, I bought both. And I was able to use it just fine. But in the first problem, none of my work is done when I look at my watch. It was sent back to me free of charge by the courier. I can't agree with this. My faith in the brand has been shaken, which is a shame. After that long break, I can't trust the Huawei brand.

The Huawei Watch GT2 is not waterproof despite its claims

My wristwatch broke and I took it to the service center, but the waterproof watch could not be repaired under warranty due to liquid contact. In addition, my working watch was claimed to have been damaged, and a repair fee nearly equaled the price of the new product was charged. I do not recommend p...

Huwai watch gt 2 not waterproof and bad service performance

A Huwai watch gt 2 brand watch was said to be waterproof, but when the company took it in for service, they said it was the user's fault and asked for 2400 TL to fix it. I looked at the watch's features and saw that in the waterproof position, it was waterproof up to 50 meters. The after-service rep...

Huawei Gt Pro Watch scratches

At 6 and 12 o'clock, the inside of my Huawei gt Pro 2 watch began to show brown scratches. The warranty is still valid. I sent it back because it was still under warranty. Because this phone's feature is waterproof, there is a high demand for this watch. Because it's waterproof, they said it's out o...
